I just want to thank you for the last 2 months of work, it has been a real pleasure working with you. Molly loves you and really seems to enjoy the work session and especially the good treats. You have taken the time to listen to the problems and address them with Molly every week. You have so much patience with a little puppy I know I really lost it before you started. I know with the foundation you have given US and Molly we can continue to work and enjoy our "COURTEOUS LITTLE CANINE".

Thanks so much,
Jayne, Mike and Molly

Debbie Perry is the most perfect trainer and teacher. Our two Dobermans ages 2 and 4 literally light up and smile when they see her coming. Her teaching techniques worked extremely well on our laid back 4 year old male and our extremely active 2 year old. She also has the innate ability to teach the parents also!

We highly recommend her services!

Alan and I would like to thank you for the fantastic job you did with Madison, our Dalmatian. He was running the household with his unacceptable behavior. If we tried to take him for a walk, he dragged us down the street. Now, thanks to you, Madison no longer runs wild through the house or grabs things off the table or counters. Now when we say “drop it” or “leave it”, he will do just that. He is so much better when a visitor comes to the door. Now we can get him to sit and wait until the person pets him. Our friends really appreciate this.

We now have a wonderful dog that is much happier because he knows his limits and he is no longer top dog in the household. We are extremely grateful to you for this.

Thanks again,
Alan & Diana

Debbie trained Molly, my 15 month old Labrador retriever. She has provided my children and me with the skills to handle Molly, as well as insight into Molly’s behavioral problems. During the course of the training, Debbie proved herself to be a dedicated, caring, and professional dog trainer. Within a couple of lessons, Molly was proficient in basic obedience. As the training progressed, minor behavioral problems such as chewing, stealing and running away from us, diminished.

Overall, my experience with Debbie has been wonderful and I’m sad our training sessions have ended. I give her full credit for Molly’s remarkable change in behavior. I strongly recommend Debbie for all dog training needs including obedience or behavioral problems.

Sincerely,
Carol

I have a 6 year old Golden Retriever (Chestnut). He is the love of my life, he goes everywhere I go including work. During our first meeting, I did not have to describe the problems I had with Chestnut, Debbie already knew because Chestnut’s behavior issues were obvious. Debbie sat down with me and went over the problems we wanted to solve and set our goals.

Everything changed after Debbie came to my rescue. After the first lesson, chestnut did not bark at the office anymore. He no longer jumped on visitors. After the second session he did not bolt out of the door. By the forth lesson he was jumping into the back of my car so I did not have to lift the 80 pound fur ball myself.

One day, all of Chestnut’s training was put to the test. I was playing with him in the parking lot. The front gate was wide opened. His favorite ball rolled out of the lot and landed across the street. Chestnut dashed towards the ball at full speed with me frantically calling his name. I could see a truck coming down the street on a collision course with my dog. As Chestnut reached the edge of the gate, he stopped, sat down and wagged his tail looking back at me. He remembered everything about the boundary training Debbie had taught him and actually did it without any supervision. Without Debbie’s training, I am pretty sure Chestnut would have been hit by the truck.

Debbie is a very effective trainer who taught my dog manners and obedience. She has turned a spoiled dog into the office mascot. Most importantly, she has given my Chestnut’s life back to me. For that, I will be eternally grateful.

Sincerely,
Caron

My husband and I hired Debbie Perry to train our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, CJ. She did an absolutely wonderful job. She is an excellent teacher of people as well as a trainer of dogs. My husband and I are both teachers so we can easily recognize someone with teaching talent and Debbie definitely has talent.

Debbie worked miracles. She showed us how to get CJ truly well versed in basic obedience. She had a comprehensive plan to address our concerns and carried it out effectively. She was always on time and pleasant. We are so pleased with the work Debbie did. She realized that even though we love CJ, we didn’t know how to make him a better dog. Debbie was able to show us and CJ that teamwork creates great results.

Sincerely,
Joanne

I am writing this letter in support of anyone who wishes to use Debbie Perry in the future. When I met Debbie, my dog Sadie was almost a year old. Imagine having a 75 pound German Shepard with zero social skills. I was almost embarrassed to take Sadie to training because of her behavior.

On my first lesson I apologized for Sadie’s behavior. I told Debbie the dog must be crazy thinking she would agree with me. But Debbie just smiled and said she would be fine. By the first lesson I was completely amazed at the progress Debbie had made with Sadie. She was actually responding! The training was working already! Within just a few lessons I saw the potential my dog had and I actually enjoyed being around her more.

Debbie didn’t look at Sadie like she was just another dog. She asked many questions about her lifestyle and how she behaved at home. Debbie spent a lot of time going over the methods that she thought would be best for my dog.

In closing, I would like to say that I am really glad to have had Debbie train my dog. I found her very easy to work with and Sadie responded to her very well. I have called Debbie a few times since my lessons have ended to ask her questions about training or for her advice on advanced training. Each time I have called, she has been more than helpful in answering my questions. If you choose to have Debbie train your dog, I think you will be extremely pleased with her professionalism and her obvious love for dogs.

Sincerely,
Kristin

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you taught not only my puppy, Niko, but me also. Before I met you, Niko thought I was a chew toy and had covered my arms with bruises. When I called you to schedule the puppy training, I was desperate for help.

The very first day that you met with Niko and me more than paid for itself. What I learned on that day saved me and gave me hope. In just one session, Niko stopped biting me. My family could not believe the change in Niko.

Of all the different things we learned from you, the greatest accomplishments are Niko sitting at the doorway without crossing the threshold until I say “Break”, and taking him for a walk without him pulling on the leash. We continue to practice all that we learned and Niko continues to amaze me with his responses. All the training tools you suggested were extremely helpful.

On behalf of Niko, my family and I, a most sincere Thank You! I wish you continued success with all the puppies that cross your path. You did a great job in teaching us.

I always had the dream that one day I would get an Old English sheepdog. It would listen to me and be obedient. Part of that dream came true when my Mom and sister surprised me with a puppy.

We wanted a certified pet dog trainer, so my boyfriend looked you up on the internet. Although I had numbers of other trainers from our vet, my mom felt the most comfortable talking to you over the phone. When we first met, I felt even more comfortable with who you were as a person. But, it wasn’t until you actually worked with Lacie that I was confident she would be on the right track to becoming a well behaved dog.

After the first time you trained Lacie and me, I knew we made the right decision. I was so impressed how she picked up so many commands the very first day. Now she can sit, stay, leave it, go to her place, break on command, sit and wait till I tell her to eat, COME, heel and she is good with people.

You saved me from tears when Lacie tried to run away one time. Since she had been a door crasher (but not anymore!) she ran away from my mom and sister. She took off down the street and my mom couldn’t run fast enough to catch her. Thanks to you, my mom remembered to yell “COME” and Lacie ran back to my mom who was in tears. If we had lost her, I don’t know what I would have done.

I can’t express how thankful I am for you working with Lacie. The rest of my dream is complete because of you, Debbie!

Sincerely,
Shana and Michelle
